Responsibility.  Accepting responsibility for one’s own health. That means taking credit for all of your successes and failures; accepting the consequences of your own actions. Be willing to put in the work for optimal health.

Education. Never stop learning and seeking out the truth. Have an open mind before judging new ideas that challenge your current beliefs.
Awareness. Process the truth and your experiences not with your ego but your core self. Seeking out the truth is the first step but unless you process and actively integrate what you’ve learned, how can you be fully aware of your body, your thoughts, or your own health? Be an active participant in your own wellness.

Empowerment. Drawing strength from within yourself, standing in your truth and owning your truth. Claiming your place in this world. Finding help and getting strength from others when you need it.

Personalization. Everyone is on their own journey. No two paths will be the same so focus on your own way and don’t get caught up with the journey of others. They are not you, you are not them. This is personal.
Balance. In all aspects of life there needs to be equilibrium. There is an ebb and flow to life and we can’t fight it. For every action there is an opposite and equal reaction. There will be positive and negative, highs and lows. Be open to both and allow both sides to teach you.

Solutions. Often times we become attached to our problems and identify with them. This makes finding a solution difficult. Learn to let go of the attachment so you can take action and focus on a way out. Be aware of the problem but focus on the solution.

Connection. Once you embrace the journey you are on start to seek out the truth, become more aware, and look from within. You will feel and see how it is all connected. If you remember only one thing, just remember there is nothing more profound than the connection you have within yourself.
